Second Place is a landscape architecture research collective. We aim to open dialogues around alternative and expanded modes of landscape architecture practice through conversations, events, workshops, and collaborations with other disciplines.
In recent events we have collaborated with artists, curators, poets, writers, critics, architects, academics, chefs, urban designers, and other landscape architects. We continue to explore how other disciplines can inform and enrich our understanding of landscape and design and to interrogate the ethical and philosophical issues that underpin how we position ourselves as agents in the transformation of the environment.
